Togetherness: The Real Happiness

Being together. What does it really mean? I am not alone right now. I am sitting with my cousin who is busy on her own phone and I am, too, busy writing up this blog post. We are not alone. But are we together?

We, at Kissan, feel that it is about breaking free from the clutches of our smart phones and building meaningful relationships with our kith and kin in the real world. We feel that it’s time to break the shackles of the digital world and instead get down to the roots and connect in person, by feeling and sharing real emotions in the real world.

We chat with our friends all day long; is that togetherness? We watch our favorite shows with our siblings every day? Is that togetherness?

All this may even be ‘some’ kind of togetherness, but it is not the real togetherness. Then what is this real togetherness? And how can we achieve it?

There are many answers. But the first step to all of them is to get up, leave your phones behind and TALK.

Talk about the weather, talk about your day

Talk about music, or talk about what to play;

Talk about art and talk about love

Talk about peace or talk about dove;

Talk about the present, talk about the future

Talk about food and the club where you were;

Talk about childhood, talk about rain

Share your joy and share your pain.

That’s when you’ll be together. When you enjoy others’ company and share happiness with them. When you care about them.

Go out for a picnic, enjoy the view. Read a book together and give a review!

Umpteenth people, umpteenth ways.

Now that is another interesting way! Please watch:

Did you see how people earlier were only busy with themselves only?

And then how, just some seeds put them all together?

And how happy they were then?

That’s the power of togetherness. It brings joy. It develops friendship and affection amongst people. They feel close to each other and no longer lonely.

“Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone’s hand is the beginning of a journey.
At other times, it is allowing another to take yours.” -Vera Nazarian

So? What are you waiting for? Go! Go and talk with the person beside you. Stop reading this and go! GO, I won’t feel sad if you don’t complete reading this. Promise.

Please visit http://www.kissanpur.com/ for more information. And you can register to get tomato seeds that you could plant at your home and make fresh puree or sauce out of the yummy tomatoes that grow!

And remember,                                                                                                                                            Together we can rise up higher, together we light up the fire.

Be together, all time. That’s the real key to happiness.

See you soon.

GO!
